Do you take bookings or reservations?
We do not reserve tables.
All tables are on a first come, first served basis.
What are your opening times?
This website is kept up to date with our latest opening times at the bottom of this page.
Other sites such as maps or social media can take time to update following a change but we endeavour to update these as quickly as possible.
Can I order take-away tubs?
Yes, no problem at all.
Please email IceCream@PointzCastle.com and provide us as much notice as possible.
Collection would be during opening hours.
What payments do you take?
We accept cash and most major card payments — including Visa, Mastercard, and contactless options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Unfortunately, we do not currently accept American Express (AMEX) cards.
Can I leave my car while I go for a walk or overnight?
The car parking is for customers in the shop at that time only. We also hope you appreciate that current customers should have access to park on site.
We are a 24/7 working farm so often might need cars to move for access or if there is a problem. The farm, parking areas and fields are private property.
There is a lay-by by the castle mound for public parking for those going for walks.
Do you do weddings or events?
We do have a mobile trailer for infrequent local events.

Do you provide ice cream for wholesale?
We do not currently make ice cream for anyone else.
Do you cater for alternative dietary requirements?
Whilst being a dairy farm and ice cream barn, we do also have sorbets on offer suitable for vegans.
We also have gluten free flavours and cones as well as tubs available.
